The Alfa group of companies is one of the most important industrial groups in the Basque country and is based upon three main areas of activity: the first linked with purely industrial processes, the second with the home as its main focus, and the third which focuses on art in its sculptural form.

CAF is an industrial group which, based on their technical, technological, commercial and organisational knowledge, provide advanced services and products for the rail sector all over the world.

• They design, produce and supply Vehicles, Rolling Gear and various equipment fpr the rail sector, by means of the integration and development of high performance techological solutions.
• They maintain, repair, refurbish and provide logistical support for operating vehicles, as well as constructing and equipping maintenance centres.
• They offer other associated services, such as turn-key projects, project funding and participation in the operation of railway stock.
